Submission Guidelines
Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment (CDSE)
Blog Submission Guidelines:
The Centre for Disability Studies and Empowerment invites original submissions for its blog, which seeks to foster critical discourse at the intersection of law and disability. Contributors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure uniformity, academic quality, and accessibility.
1. Scope and Subject Matter:
Submissions must relate to issues at the intersection of law and disability.
Interdisciplinary approaches drawing from sociology, psychology, economics, public policy, technology, medicine, or other related fields are encouraged.
The blog aims to promote nuanced, well-researched insights that advance conversations on disability rights and empowerment.
2. Word Limit:
The main text should be between 1000–1500 words.
A brief abstract of about 100 words must accompany the submission.
3. Authorship:
Individual/ Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.
Submissions must be original and shouldn’t be sent for review elsewhere pending the completion of review process.
4. Formatting Requirements:
Font: Times New Roman
Font Size: 12
Line Spacing: 1.5
Alignment: Justified
Headings: Bold and underlined
File Name Format: CDSE_blogsubmission_Title of the blog
5. Citation and Referencing:
All sources must be hyperlinked within the text (avoid footnotes unless absolutely necessary).
Similarity must not exceed 10%.
Use of AI-generated content is strictly prohibited.
6. Submission Procedure:
Submissions should be emailed in .doc or .docx format to: cdse@nlujodhpur.ac.in
Email subject line must read: “CDSE Blog Submission – [Title of the Blog]”
7. Review Process:
Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
The Editorial Board will conduct a preliminary screening followed by a detailed review.
The decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding.
